In the Auth0 dashboard under Action > Library > Custom, actions have two statuses: BUILT and DEPLOYED. This article explains the differences between them.

When creating an action on the Auth0 dashboard, there are two options: Save Draft and Deploy. 

• If "Save Draft" is selected the action will be set to the "BUILT" status, which generally means it's still in progress. 
  • NOTE: If a previously deployed and versioned Action is still in the Trigger bindings, but a draft exists for the Action, it will be shown as 'BUILT'. Please verify the Trigger bindings for a more accurate source of truth and the action versions themselves. 
• If "Deploy" is selected, the action will be set to the "DEPLOYED" status, and the "DEPLOYED" action can be dragged to the flow.
