Bot Detection Auth0 Challenge Is Not Allowing User Interaction

Overview

Bot Detection Auth0 Challenge verifies itself without an option to click the box to verify whether the user who tries to log in is human. However, it is desired to have the option to let the users click on the check box themselves every time they try to log in.

NOTE: The Bot Detection Auth0 Challenge can be enabled by navigating to Dashboard > Attack Protection > Bot Detection and enabling the Auth0 Challenge option.

Cause

This feature is designed to solve itself, so it is not possible at this time to be set to require user interaction (clicking manually on a check box). In some cases where bot-like activity is detected, the interaction of clicking a check box may be needed, but it cannot be forced.

Solution

If user interaction must be enforced, we recommend using other bot detection features, such as a captcha.
