Solution

How do administrators configure Single Sign-On for the Auth0 Dashboard?

Review the documentation and submit an Auth0 Support ticket with the required information to initiate the Single Sign-On (SSO) integration.

  1. Review the Configure Single Sign-on for Auth0 Dashboard documentation.
  2. Provide the following information in an Auth0 Support ticket:
    • The selected Identity Provider (IdP) and protocol.
    • The email domain or domains associated with the integration.
    • The specific information that the selected protocol and IdP require.

The SSO integration process requires up to five business days.

After providing the information, the SSO integration takes up to five business days, but usually completes in less than 48 hours. Initially, Auth0 disables Home Realm Discovery (HRD), and administrators access the connection via a special URL, ensuring no changes occur for current administrators. Once administrators migrate to the new login method, request Auth0 Support to enable HRD. Enabling HRD automatically redirects users to the IdP after entering an email address with an associated domain, eliminating the need for a special URL.
