Dashboard Single Sign-On (SSO) Configuration for Self-Service Plans
Last Updated:
Overview
This article clarifies whether an account on a non-Enterprise plan can configure Dashboard Single Sign-On (SSO) for the account. This feature may be desired when testing SSO before the Enterprise plan is acquired.
Applies To
- Self-Service plans
- Startup Plan
- Free plan
- Trial plan
- Enterprise plan
Cause
The configuration of Dashboard Single Sign-On (SSO) is not permitted for an account without an Enterprise subscription plan. This feature is exclusive to the Enterprise plan.
Solution
The Dashboard Single Sign-On (SSO) feature is not included in Self-Service, Startup, Free, or Trial plans; it is exclusively for the Enterprise plan. To utilize this feature, fulfill the following requirements:
-
Subscribe to an Enterprise plan.
- For more information on subscription options, read Manage Subscriptions.
- Contact the Sales team to upgrade.
- The Sales team responds on a "best effort" basis rather than a contractual Service Level Agreement (SLA).
-
Determine whether the environment uses a Public Cloud or Private Cloud. For Private Cloud-related prerequisites, see Deploy Private Cloud.
-
After the Enterprise subscription is provisioned, create a new support ticket to initiate the SSO connection configuration.
