Facebook Social Connection Issue

Overview

A Facebook social connection has been configured in a tenant. An attempt to log in using this connection results in the error message:

"Sorry, something went wrong. We're working on getting this fixed as soon as we can."

This article explains why this error might be encountered.

Solution

'Facebook Login for Business' is not supported and should only be used by 'Tech Providers' who want to access their customer's Facebook Business data. For further information, refer to T ech Providers.

An App ID and App Secret from a Facebook app that has Facebook Login are required.
Either click the 'Switch to Facebook Login' option or create a new 'Consumer' app that's able to use 'Facebook Login'.
