Can the Auth0 Tenant Name be Changed

Overview

This article explains whether it is possible to change the Auth0 Tenant name after the tenant has been created.

Solution

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change a tenant's name. As described in Creating Tenants, tenant names cannot be altered or reused once they have been deleted. So, please ensure to review the name(s) before creating Auth0 tenants.

There are a couple of workarounds to overcome this limitation:

Use a Friendly Name.
Use a Custom Domain.
