How to Change the Tenant Name Displayed in Self-Service SSO Setup Ticket

Overview

This article provides steps to change the tenant name that appears in the User Interface (UI) for the self-service Setup screen in Universal Login. Instead of the default tenant name, a more user-friendly name can be displayed.

Solution

The tenant name displayed in the self-service Universal Login screen is updated by setting a value for the Friendly Name setting within the tenant.

  1. Navigate to the Auth0 Tenant Dashboard.

  2. Go to Settings > General.

  3. Scroll to the Settings section.

  4. Enter the desired user-friendly name in the Friendly Name field.

Configuring the Friendly Name replaces the default tenant name on the self-service Universal Login screens and Self-Service SSO access tickets, where it is rendered in the UI. For more information, refer to the Auth0 Tenant Settings Documentation.
