How is this different than the Feedback shared in other categories in the Community?
The Feedback provided throughout the Community forum is highly valued, and ongoing contributions are encouraged. Public discussions about Feedback are very important so that members of the Community can participate alongside Auth0 employees. The new category goes a step further by allowing the Community to vote on Feedback, enabling the Okta product team better to understand use cases and the impact of each request.
What information should be included with the request:
When submitting Feedback, the more context provided, the better. Please include:
- Description of Feedback or request, with context/use-case as applicable
- Company
What happens after submitting the request?
All submitted Feedback is triaged and read by human beings. The Okta Product team may reach out to ask follow-up questions or arrange a call to discuss the use case or problem further. Please keep in mind that while every piece of Feedback will be read, submission of Feedback does not necessarily ensure action.
Okta reviews all Feedback for patterns and map ideas to draw on customer insights as Okta continues to develop the Auth0 platform. Should Okta release a feature that a customer has been requesting, Okta will notify everyone who has submitted related Feedback. This notification might come as a dashboard notification, a community topic update, or a feature-related blog post.
The Community will feature dedicated topics celebrating changes, along with updates shared within relevant, ongoing discussions.
