Log Event while Verifying a Custom Domain

This article specifies the log event that is generated when verifying ownership of a custom domain.

Solution

During a custom domain verification, a sapi log event is generated.
The below query can be used under Dashboard > Monitoring > Logs to look for this particular event:

type:"sapi" AND description:"Verify a custom domain"

The verification status is not shown in the log entry, and there is no way to tell from the log entry alone that the domain was successfully verified.
