SSO Members are Not Automatically Assigned to Auth0 Teams

Overview

This article explains why a new user who accesses the Auth0 URL is not automatically added to the Auth0 Team. The new member is not added in the Teams view.
"If Just-In-Time (JIT) Membership is turned on, members that log in with SSO are automatically added to the team but will not have a role assigned."

Solution

The JIT membership feature works when the user attempts to log in to the Teams dashboard. Attempting to log into the Management dashboard does not provision the users in the Teams app.

Configuring the Teams app's https://accounts.auth0.com/teams/TEAM-NAME as the entry point instead of https://manage.auth0.com/login?connection= for the SSO integration may help to avoid confusion.
