Social Provider Windowslive (Microsoft) Accepts Personal Accounts Only

Overview
This article explains why only personal accounts, and not work accounts, work for end users after enabling Microsoft (MS) accounts in social authentication methods. All work accounts are rejected by the Microsoft login screen with the following error with a B2C Essentials license:

Cause
Microsoft Social logins are generally used to log in with personal MS accounts.
Solution
For end-users to log in with their MS account for their organization, follow the instructions in this guide: Connect their App to Microsoft Azure Active Directory.
According to Auth0 Pricing, a B2B - Essentials license is required for this configuration.
