Terms of Use in Universal Login

This article explains how to show the 'Terms of use' hyperlink on the signup page while using New Universal Login.

At this time, customization for the New Universal Login experience is limited. You can update the content displayed around the Universal Login widgets. The New Universal Login flow does not support the 'Terms of service acceptance on signup' field. This is a limitation in the New Universal Login experience as documented here: Terms of service acceptance on signup

There is an item in the backlog to address this, but there is no ETA yet. To check on the status of this feature in the future, contact the Technical Account Manager on the account or reach out to Auth0 Support. However, if this is a business-critical need for you, please discuss this request with your TAM so they can work with the product team to prioritize evaluating it.

Workaround with the New Universal login would be to add the content in the background page, which can be achieved by updating templates only using the Management API (not sure if this will help in the current use case): Customize Universal Login Page Templates
