The AD/LDAP Connector creates a self-signed certificate and a public/private key pair during installation. While the certificate is used to secure initial messages between the Connector and Auth0, subsequent communication relies on the public/private key pair. The certificate is generated with a one-year expiration period, but its expiration does not affect the established secure communication channel.

The expiration of the self-signed certificate does not impact the functionality of the AD/LDAP Connector and can be safely ignored.
