Auth0 Rules and Hooks End of Life Does Not Impact Delegated Administration Extension Hooks

Overview

The Auth0 Rules and Hooks end of life (EOL) does not impact the hooks utilized by the Delegated Administration Extension (DAE) version 3. Because the Delegated Administration Extension hooks function independently from the core Auth0 hooks, administrators do not need to migrate or update them in response to the deprecation.

Applies To

  • Auth0
  • Delegated Administration Extension (DAE) version 3
  • Rules and Hooks End of Life (EOL)

Cause

The Delegated Administration Extension (DAE) hooks operate independently from the core Auth0 hooks. Because of this architectural separation, the deprecation of the core Auth0 rules and hooks does not affect the DAE hooks.

Solution

How does the Auth0 Rules and Hooks end of life impact Delegated Administration Extension Hooks?

The Auth0 Rules and Hooks end of life (EOL) does not affect the Hooks that the Delegated Administration Extension (DAE) version 3 utilizes. The Delegated Administration Extension Hooks function independently from the core Auth0 Hooks reaching end of life. Administrators do not need to migrate or update the Delegated Administration Extension Hooks in response to the deprecation of the core Auth0 Hooks.
