When an administrator passes the send_invitation_email: true option in the payload, Auth0 uses the User Invitation email template to send the invitation. Customize the User Invitation email template to change the branding, text, or layout of the Organization invitation email. The Organization invitation email template is not visible in the Auth0 Dashboard. Auth0 successfully creates and sends invitations, but administrators cannot locate the delivery template to customize it.

Configure an external email provider and set up custom domains to unlock full email customization in Auth0 and modify the User Invitation email template.

• External Email Provider: Email template customization is not available when using the built-in email provider. Configure an external Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) email provider (for example, SendGrid or Amazon SES).
• Custom Domains: Configure custom domains to fully customize the invitation flow, including the URL users click. Free plans include one free custom domain, and paid plans support additional custom domains.
