Delete Tenant Members With Email/Password Accounts in Private Cloud Within Auth0

Overview

This article outlines the procedure for deleting Tenant Members with Email/Password accounts stored in the Config tenant and connected to a Database within a Private Cloud environment.

Applies To

  • Auth0
  • Private Cloud
  • Tenant Members
  • Tenant Admins
  • Database Connections

Solution

  1. Access each individual tenant using a tenant administrator account.
  2. Navigate to Tenant Settings, then select Tenant Members.
  3. Delete the target accounts from each individual tenant.
  4. Access the Config tenant using an account with the Editor - Users role.
  5. Navigate to User Management, then select Users.
  6. Delete the target accounts.

NOTE: While deleting accounts in the Config tenant (Steps 4-6) prevents users from logging in to Private Cloud, Steps 1-3 are essential to ensure the accounts are completely removed from each tenant and to avoid leaving orphaned records.
