Whenever sending a One Time Password code via either SMS or WhatsApp, the same code is being received by the user over a time frame of 5 minutes.

This behavior is completely expected, and it has been implemented this way to assist in areas with lower coverage, as there are higher chances of scenarios where a user gets a code, and the network did not send it yet, which might have the user to trigger a resend, and just after that, the user is receiving the first code, as creating an unpleasant experience for the user. 

Therefore, it has been implemented that, within a five-minute time frame, all OTP codes received via SMS and WhatsApp will be identical to avoid a poor user experience.

Patiently wait for that time frame to end to generate a new OTP code, as the old one is invalidated when the user either logs in or the time frame expires.
